CPSC

In 2023, NAPHSIS partnered with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to create a national mailbox that allows vital records jurisdictions to deliver mortality data electronically through STEVE. This project provides CPSC with standardized mortality data more quickly. Our partners at Ruvos built the mailbox, and 16 states have already sent data through this channel.

CPSC works to save lives and keep families safe by reducing the risk of injuries from consumer products. Receiving more data faster helps save more lives and protect families.
