Kenny Higginbotham

Board Term: June 2024 - June 2026

Kenny Higginbotham is the Administrator for Administrative Services for the Florida Bureau of Vital Statistics within the Division of Public Health Statistics and Performance Management at the Florida Department of Health. He has been with Florida Vital Statistics for 27 years and has been a NAPHSIS member throughout that time.

Kenny began his career in 1997 in Birth & Death Registration, helping automate and implement electronic registration. For the past 11+ years, he has overseen day-to-day operations, including purchasing, fiscal/budget, human resources, contracts, and facility services. He was part of the administrative team that helped achieve Vital Records/Health Statistics (VRHS) PHAB Accreditation in 2019.

He has attended and presented at federal, state, and local meetings and conferences regarding Florida’s vital statistics programs. Kenny holds a Master of Business Administration in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Management concentration, both from Jacksonville University, and has participated in numerous professional development activities throughout his career.
