Board Term: June 2026 - May 2028
Jeremy has been with Idaho Vital Statistics since 1998 and in his current role since 2008. Jeremy has also been heavily involved with NAPHSIS, serving on several committees and assignments since 2006 and was the recipient of the 2025 Halbert L. Dunn award.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has pioneered Idaho Vital Statistics being the first jurisdiction to implement all three revised certificates, the first jurisdiction to use STEVE 1 and STEVE 2 and was the first jurisdiction to implement mortality FHIR in production (November 2023). Throughout these projects, Idaho developed their own applications, processes, and approaches to these projects and he will share his vision and approach to FHIR and how jurisdictions can also implement this project using their own approach and solutions in their own situation as well.
Outside of Vital Statistics, Jeremy is a professional Public Address Announcer, speaking at over 150 sporting events a year at the Professional, Collegiate, and High School level for the past 20+ years.
