Dylan Bryant is the State Registrar and Chief of the Bureau of Vital Records at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. He has worked in a variety of roles across the private, public, and non-profit sectors, beginning his career in state government more than ten years ago in the Missouri House of Representatives before transitioning to public health and vital records.
An active NAPHSIS member, Dylan participates in a variety of workgroups, workshops, and committees, including the model law and finance committees. He was recognized at the 2023 NAPHSIS Annual Meeting with the Outstanding Leadership Award.
In addition to his professional work, Dylan is completing a doctoral program in public administration at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, with a dissertation focus on technology and artificial intelligence in government. He also holds a Master of Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in political science.
